Continuity Training and Exercises

A Table Top Exercise (TTX) is a focused, practice activity within the ‘Test, Train & Maintain’ stage of the business continuity management system lifecycle. The aim is to ensure your Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and arrangements are continually maintained, reviewed and quality-assured so you can keep your promise of service reliability to those who depend on it.

You are testing that the PLAN is fit-for-purpose. The tabletop exercise is to demonstrate the ability of one or more critical business processes to continue functionality, within the required time frame, following an interruption. The exercise will enable you to assess, evaluate and enhance your business continuity preparedness as it will provide information on what you’re doing well so this can be maintained and built on, as well as which areas need improving (e.g. plans, policies, procedures, arrangements, resources). Aim for progressive maturity.
